Getting to The Harrow

We have plenty of free parking at The Harrow so if you have your own transport and a navigation device please use the map on this page or use postcode SN4 0AE.

The Harrow Inn

By Road Via the M4 from the east (London direction)

At junction 15 of the M4 take the exit and turn right heading along the A419 north towards Swindon until the next roundabout. Take the 3rd exit onto Pack Hill, signposted towards Wanborough. Continue along Pack Hill onto Church Road and into Upper Wanborough. At the crossroads at Callas Hill turn left into the High Street towards Lower Wanborough. Head past The Plough Inn and The Harrow Inn will be about 200 yds on your right. Turn right in front of The Harrow and our car park is at the rear.

BY ROAD VIA THE A346 FROM THE SOUTH (MARLBOROUGH DIRECTION)

Head  north on the A346 / Marlborough Road. At the M4 roundabout take the second exit continuing along the A419 north until the next roundabout. Take the 3rd exit into Pack Hill, signposted towards Wanborough. Continue along Pack Hill onto Church Road and into Upper Wanborough. At the crossroads at Callas Hill turn left into the High Street towards Lower Wanborough. Head past The Plough Inn and The Harrow Inn will be about 200 yds on your right. Turn right in front of The Harrow and our car park is at the rear.

Bristol and London Heathrow International Airports are 43 and 54 miles from Swindon respectively. Both have good transport links to Swindon.

BY ROAD VIA THE M4 FROM THE WEST (BRISTOL DIRECTION)

By BIKE

National Cycle Network Route 45 passes Wanborough just 3 miles away to the west and The Ridgeway is just 1.8 miles to the south.

From Route 45 at Coate Water leave the route and continue on the A4259 towards the A419. At the junction with the A419 take the 2nd exit onto Pack Hill, signposted towards Wanborough. Continue along Pack Hill and after a few hundred yards take a left turning onto The Marsh signposted tawards Lower Wanborough. Continue along here into the village and turn right onto the High Street. The Harrow Inn will be about 200 yds on your left. Turn left in front of The Harrow and our bike storage is at the rear, on the right.

From The Ridgway exit at Foxhill and head down Callas Hill north. Continue onto the High Street towards Lower Wanborough. Head past The Plough Inn and The Harrow Inn will be about 200 yds on your right. Turn right in front of The Harrow andour bike storage is at the rear, on the right.

BY BUS

Swindon has an extensive public transport network that unfortunately does stretch as far as Wanborough as often as we’d like. 

Stagecoach provide service 48A and a live timetable can be found here. This service stops just a couple of minutes walk from The Harrow.

This service travels between Swindon and Hungerford.

BY ROAD VIA THE A419 FROM THE NOrth (CIRENCESTER DIRECTION)

Follow the A419 south until The White Hart roundabout signposted A420 Oxford and Dorcan. Take the slip road and then the third exit onto Merlin Way. Continue along Merlin Way across three roundabouts. Continue straight onto Wanborough Road and into Lower Wanborough. Head past The Brewers Arms and The Harrow Inn will be about 200 yds on your left. Turn left in front of The Harrow and our car park is at the rear.

By rail

Swindon Railway Station is a mainline station between London and the South West of England with numerous easy connections to the rest of the country and airports. 

London mainline stations are just 1 hour away and Bristol only 45 mins. 

The station has a large taxi rank and taxi offices outside and is just a few minutes walk from the Swindon Bus Station.
